Armistice Day

Armistice Day

November 11 was designated a day to celebrate International Peace following the war to end all wars, WWI. Disgusted by all the senseless slaughter of their children, parents hoped this day would be a day to make wars a thing of the past. Help us remember the original meaning of this day. Visit Veterans for Peace and learn how you can help reclaim Armistice Day.

” I dream of giving birth to a child who will ask, ‘Mother, what was war?'” -Eve Merriam
