You’re Invited! March with Reindeer Against Global Warming
You are invited to join artists Kari Percival and Greg Cook of Wonderland Spectacle Company, along with concerned citizens, children with futures, grandparents with grandchildren, aunts uncles and anyone else who calls Earth home and intends to keep doing so, to march in Malden’s Parade of Holiday Traditions with Reinder Against Global Warming.
No Antlers? No problem. Come to our free Mask Making Workshop at the Malden Public Library, at 2 pm, Nov. 18 and make your own reindeer mask. Or just show up to the parade at the Salemwood School on Nov. 25 dressed in festive colors (like red) and dressed warm. We will have extra masks, Santa beards, signs and banners that need enthusiastic parade dancers to hold them.
Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes! The parade route is 1.6 miles. Bikes, scooters and strollers are welcome for little feet. Don’t forget to bring a snack and a drink. At the end of the parade route there will be hot cocoa and cookies at the Malden Teen Center, and then a tree lighting in front of the Malden Public Library. Hope to see you!
