Mystic River Herring Run & Paddle – Kari Percival Words & Pictures

I’m so excited to share my design for the Mystic River Herring Run and Paddle – Sunday May 19th, 9 AM!

You can enter a 5K run/walk race and any of three different paddling races (3, 9, and 12 miles).

All events are held at the Department of Conservation and Recreation Blessing of the Bay Boathouse in Somerville. That’s where t-shirts and posters with my design will be for sale to help fund Mystic River Watershed Association’s efforts to revitalize waterfront parks and paths, improve water quality and climate resilience within the watershed, and promote ecological stewardship. Pretty cool, yes?
