March for Recess

Hello, Malden School System Parents: At the last Subcommittee for Social, Emotional and Physical Well-being, Dr. Grandson mentioned that he has reminded staff that recess is not to be taken away for disciplinary reasons, according to existing Malden School district policy. The committee agreed that this has taken care of the problem. So if you are hearing from your students in this next month that their recess is still being taken away for disciplinary reasons, (or for any reason that sounds messed up to you) please let him know, so it can be addressed, at cgrandson@maldenps.org. And please share this note with your parent FB group at your school or PTO, I am only at the Linden. Thanks!
